Exploring aquatic animals through real 3D science data
Storyvoxel worked with Georgia Aquarium to evaluate and deploy interactive 3D visualisation as part of a new gallery focused on shark education. Using Inside Explorer, visitors can explore aquatic animals through real scientific imaging data, enabling hands‑on investigation of anatomy and physiology.
Following a successful evaluation, Georgia Aquarium licensed Inside Explorer with multiple datasets, integrating the software into existing large‑format touch screens. The installation bridges research and public engagement, allowing visitors to explore complex scientific data intuitively while supporting the aquarium’s mission of conservation and education.
